the role in a nutshell...

You'll be managing the daily flow of orders from our wholesale customers, from order entry to invoicing to accounts receivable. You'll be interacting with customers on a daily basis by phone and email - providing 5 star customer service is one of the most important pieces of being a teapig. 

As time allows, you'll also scout and develop sales leads, assist with trade shows (including occasional travel) and generally chip in where needed with the sales team.

requirements:

We're looking for someone detail oriented, organized, conscientious and with an amazing attitude. We're a small team, and this job can get a little crazy (in the best way possible!) so you need to be able to keep yourself on task and focused, all while giving excellent customer service. Some of the key skills we're looking for are:

  • Generally excellent with computers, but high level of proficiency with Excel and Outlook is needed
  • Some sales experience is preferred, ideally in food or CPG
  • Great communication skills - you'll be working as part of a team that is often remote
